the depth and length of this site offers real potential to explore greater height for some of the development especially in the center. This will assist in helping to visually "mark" Dalston within the London skyline; help to increase the provision of quality new homes; and relieve pressure on over developing the essential loose fill character sites located in the surrounding streets.

It's too much, access to sunlight is being lost and horizons - views along with it. The new plans for 5-6 stories will have a massive negative affect on residents and 3-4 stories for the new areas, specifically for the suggested over railway development. This height strategy has yet again clearly been suggested by non residents. The 5-6 stories over kingsland station will result in yet more light being lost from Bradbury Mews and Specifically Springbok works which is just 3 stories high with a south facing kitchen diner & garden on the fourth floor. The 5-6 stories of new development will result in yet more loss of privacy, noise, sunlight for solar generation.

Are there any important local views missing?

yes, along the railway from Boleyn road bridge both east and west...these views give space and greenery to the residents and incomers to the area.

After 57 East, without consulting me as a local neighbour, this is a JOKE. Then the Hotel on Sandringham Road was built, notably higher than its neighbours, without consulting me either.

Please stop building above 4 stories. Was the giant white thing with wind turbines not enough of a carbuncle? was the big gold middle finger above M$S not enough? was the whole of dalston square not enough to show that big buildings never enhance character, they are detrimental to light, to ground level comfort (buffeting wind tunnels), they just make dalston feel more and more like no where, more and more uncomfrtable, more and more crampt, and for what.. really for what. Someon can buy a second home and a bigger mercedes.

too tall, too massive, too high, everywhere. too much vehicle traffic too much cement dust, too little benefit

Are there any important local views missing?

Yeah you've missed the incredibly negative ones: the wind tunnel next to mildreds off dalston square; the view of the gold middle finger ALL the way down ridley road; the state of the area just to the north of dalston junction; ashwin street behind which used to be a pleasant place to sit on a sunny evening, now is cool and crummy and full of scooters. Bizarrely you've forgotten to point out the contribution the giant failed wind turbines-buildings adds to Ramsgate Street, or the faux-mosque roof of the shopping centre (yesterdays overdevelopment); you've missed the never-had-a-successful-tenant frontages of new builds on dalston lane; you've missed that lovely part west of kingsland road where there are no giant poor quality buildings, oh wait thats Islington.
